STORIES

Last night, I was going back home. I went into a lift and there was nobody in it. I pressed Number 11 because my home is on that floor. I stayed in the lift for a long time. Suddenly I noticed that the floor number was not changing but the lift was still moving up.
I looked at the floor number and saw the number stopped at 10. I was scared so I pressed the STOP button, but the door didn’t open. Then I pressed the HELP button, but it didn’t work. I looked around the lift but I couldn’t see anything wrong.
The lift was still moving up and the number was still 10. I was one floor away from my home.
I shouted “Help! Help!”, but nobody answered me. I looked around the lift again. I saw a phone on the wall. I dialed 9-1-1 and I said: “Help! I was stuck in a lift.”
A low voice said: “I know. I am in the same lift.”
I said: “Are you kidding me? I am the only one in the lift.”
He said: “Look in the mirror.”
At the time, the door opened. I ran out of the lift and looked in the mirror.
I saw a boy with one eye missing smiling at me. I even saw his many black teeth!
